FEMRITE Releases new books

FEMRITE releases 3 new books into the market. One is 'Beyond The Dance', a compilation of testimonies and poems of girls and women that have undergone the torture of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The second is 'Talking Tales', an assortment of stories and poems based on various themes of lifestyle, family, love, death and politics. Both these books were sponsored by Artaction. The third is Pumpkin Seeds and Other Gifts, a collection of stories by women that attended the Regional Women Writers' Residence. The stories were edited by Helen Moffet and Violet Barungi. The publication was supported by Africalia and Commonwealth Foundation. These books offer a fresh angle to life's challenges, joys, ups and downs. Once again, FEMRITE has taken great leaps in the literary world.
